Designing Process

Earthenware tiles are recommended for interior and light countertop use only. They should not be used outdoors in freezing temperatures.

Decide on the scope of the project. Do you want murals or panels to highlight areas like sink, stove, shower and tub surrounds, fireplace, back splash, or entryway? Or do you want just a few strategically placed tiles in spots?

Decide on a theme or concept. Do you have an idea in mind as a jumping off point for the design process? Examples from books, magazines, fabrics, photos, etc. of what you want is helpful. I then use your input as a starting point for designing the project. Once a preliminary sketch is approved, I produce a test tile sample to give an idea of the style and colors of the final project. The finished project is started after customer approval of the sample.

If you are ordering individual tiles, it is extremely important that you order a sufficient quantity of tile to meet your project needs. I advise that clients order extra tile if they are unsure about the exact square footage needed. If add on orders are made at a later date, I cannot guarantee and am not responsible for an exact glaze match.
