All hand painted
murals and tiles are commissioned pieces. If you like one of the murals
shown on the web site, I can create one like it, but there will be some
subtle differences.
The murals are painted with colored glazes and fired to approx. 1900° in
a kiln. For my murals, I make custom sized tiles using an earthenware
white clay body or I use a standard sized commercial bisque tile
depending on what the customer wants and needs for the project.
The cost depends on the complexity of the design; average prices run
between $150.00 and $200.00 a square foot for murals. Single hand
painted tiles are approximately $35.00 for 4x4 tiles and $45.00 for 6x6
tiles.
